CAREGIVER CONNECTION: CARING FOR A LOVED ONE WITH CANCER

This is a monthly discussion group focused on topics of concern for those who are providing emotional support or physical care for a loved one with cancer. In this session, the difficult questions that arise for caregivers throughout the cancer experience will be addressed. Please RSVP by September 15.
COOKING FOR LIFE

Chef Suzanne Weltman brings her expertise to this “hands on” class. Each session includes a new cooking experience for participants while learning about ingredients and meal preparation. This class will focus on cooking basics of “knife skills” as a part of the meal preparation. Please RSVP by September 16.

Join us at 4:00 PM for this ceremony that celebrates and honors loved ones who have died from cancer. A reading of names will be followed by a reception with light refreshments. Please register by September 30 and inform us of the name(s) of loved one(s) that you wish to have read.

Cancer treatment can change a woman’s body in many ways, alter her identity, and impact her relationships. This retreat offers the opportunity to explore these challenges through learning and community. Workshops, meals, and accommodations are all free of charge. Women who are dealing with active issues in breast cancer treatment or who are recovering from treatment (within two years) are eligible, along with a support person, to enjoy this time together.
